Holiday Charity Classic Poker Tournament supports these worthy organizations:

The Service Animal Program at disability Solutions for Independent Living (DSIL)   rescues dogs from animal kill pounds and turns them into service animals for individuals with disabilities of all ages. The staff  and volunteers rescue dogs in need who, in turn,  rescue people in need by “putting paws into action.” DSIL is a non-profit agency offering assistance, advocacy, and education for individuals with disabilities and special needs.  DSIL’s mission is to empower people with disabilities to attain equal opportunities in society by maximizing their leadership potential, empowerment, independence, and productivity. Services are provided to individuals with disabilities so that necessary skills can be acquired to achieve each person’s independence goals. 

The Jerry Doliner Food Bank maintains a well-stocked crisis food bank which provides emergency food to people who “fall through the cracks” of the system. The food bank provides staples such as cereals, juices, canned vegetables and fruits, canned meats, peanut butter, pasta, canned and dry milk, paper goods, and other items deemed necessary for survival. Although it is run by The Social Service Council of the Jewish Federation, 95% of the people helped are not of the Jewish faith.  Last year alone more than 22,500 people received a week’s worth of food.

Veterans Family Fund  through JWV Post 300 helps local veterans both at home and in medical or support facilities and their families with urgent or special needs during the holiday season. The fund supports a wide range of unique needs from Thanksgiving dinners to temporary shelter. 

Greyhound Pets of America/Daytona Beach (GPA/Daytona Beach) is a chapter of a national 501c(3) non-profit organization dedicated to finding responsible, loving homes for retired racing greyhounds. GPA/Daytona Beach maintains a kennel at the racing compound with approximately 50 greyhounds available at all times. The sponsors of GPA/Daytona Beach volunteer at various locations around the Daytona Beach area to raise awareness, introduce prospective families to their new pets and provide adoption as an option.

Deepstack Charity Fund  helps to fund C.B.T. (Congregation B’nai Torah) and its affiliated charities. A faith-based organization in the forefront of volunteerism and humanitarian works in the community at large, in addition to religious activities, C.B.T will use its share of tournament proceeds  to support scholarships to worthy students for international studies.
